Hot Hot Heat - Bandages
Man... I remember the dumb a** boy I was dating when this song was hott, all over KROQ (yes I still listened to KROQ at that time) I totally remember cruising in my horrible Vanden Plas, blaring this song, singing all off-key. I feel so much older now.
Bandages on my legs and my arms from you
Bandages, bandages, bandages
Up and down on my legs my arms from you
Bandages, bandages, bandages
These bandages cover more than scrapes, cuts and bruises from regrets and mistakes
I've been hoping your moping around the street again
I've been tripping from sipping the dripping dirty water tap
I've been poking a voodoo doll that you do not know I made
These bandages are anonymity
I've been shaking from making an awful decision
I've been running and running
feels like my head is spinning round and round, around, around, around, around, around
Bandages on my legs and my arms from you
Bandages, bandages, bandages
Up and down on my legs and my arms from you
Bandages, bandages, bandages
I've been hoping your moping around the street again
I've been tripping from sipping the dripping dirty water tap
I've been poking a voodoo doll that you do not know I made
For you, of you, let's see what needles do
I've been shaking from making an awful decision
I've been thinking I'm drinking too many drinks all by myself
I've been running and running
Feels like my head is spinning round and round, around, around, around, around, around
Bandages on my legs and my arms from you
Bandages, bandages, bandages
Up and down on my legs and my arms from you
Bandages, bandages, bandages
Bandages on my legs and my arms from you
Bandages, bandages, bandages
Bandages, bandages, bandages
Don't worry now, don't worry now, don’t worry cause it's all under control
Don't worry now, don't worry now, don’t worry cause it's all under control
Don't worry now, don't worry now, don’t worry cause it's all under control
Don't worry now, don't worry now, don’t worry cause it's all under control
Don't worry now, don't worry now, don’t worry cause it will all turn around,
around, around, around, around, around, around, around

Jessica Stam by Steven Meisel
This reminds me of a Beverly Hills Grandparents house, very Baroque, European, takes me back to high school. Jessica Stam is the visiting European bred, cousin, my bff and I are totally transfixed. Anyone else? I love all the remotes and a couple of pill bottles.

Grunge Look 2009
Naomi Campbell and Kristen McMenamy, by Steven Meisel. I remember seeing this shot for the first time. I like to think of myself as a grown up grunge, kinderwhore girl. I'm madly in love with my recently acquired PRPS jeans and Kain Label shirts. Such a perfect mix. And I pile on the jewels... Really taking the menswear trend to heart. The look travels well, and can easily be dressed up or down with shoes/accessories.

Laurel Canyon
Laurel Canyon: The Inside Story of Rock-and-Roll's Legendary Neighborhood
By: Michael Walker
Man... I wish I was there. A favorite thing of Laurel Canyon residents, was to inject a watermelon with vodka, then plop it into the pool, it'd be nice and chilled when they got back from their creative endeavor of the day.

Miu Miu 2006
One of my all time favorite ad campaigns... Kim Basinger and Camilla Belle for Miu Miu in 2006.
The campaign embodies all the things I love, the sheen of the sheets is memorizing.

Remember the Kinderwhore Look?
I was waaay into that. I had tons of silk babydoll dresses (that I found while my Father stood in the doorway of thrift stores he'd never walk all the way in... he's a germ-a-phob) Dr. Martens in every color, over the knee socks and fishnets... Black eyeliner. Oh and BARRETTES, how could I have almost forgotten the barrettes... At 18 I wore slips as dresses, with gobs of silver jewelry.
Funny thing is. I went to Catholic School so I'd put all this stuff on after school or on the weekends.
I miss the Kinderwhore Courtney Love. She was pretty rad.
Where's Kat Bjelland?
